“Commercial agency experiences changes in the market just as in residential real estate.
Where commercial differs is the ability to pivot between sales and leasing functions to suit
the market activity, to look at the data and adopt short-, medium- and long-term positions.
Whilst the clientele will be as varied as any other sector, the essential fact that decisions
are driven by financial factors over emotive issues means that analytical agents and asset
managers will find the work more satisfying. With so many interesting genres, commercial
offers great diversity of choice, within a structured, process driven methodology.
The property sector continues to change at a very fast pace, and the REIQ’s commitment to
a collegiate approach in maintaining not just a high quality of agents and property/asset
managers, but also in ensuring that the tools used are up to date and fit for purpose.
Realworks, industry updates and the strength of voice are all essential parts of why as a
practitioner you should be a member, and as a consumer you can take comfort in this.”
